Bug Description
Binary package hint: ubuntu-dev-tools
This is my first time using submittodebian but it seems that it needs a working postfix configuration to send the messages. Eventhough the tool reports that the mail has been sent, in /var/mail I can see errors that this is not the case.
submittodebian should inform of this.

Actually, it doesn't. It shells out to reportbug, which doesn't need a local MTA to operate, see /usr/share/ doc/reportbug/ README. Users.gz
Maybe submittodebian should tell the user this, if there isn't a ~/.reportbugrc ?
