Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubuntu-dev-tools

I'm not entirely sure that this is where I should file this as I'm using the ~udt-developers/daily PPA...

Since installing 0.124~daily+bzr1093~natty1 on natty, pull-debian-source fails claiming (incorrectly) that liburi-perl is not installed.

$ pull-debian-source atanks
Request failed: install the liburi-perl package and try again.
pull-debian-source: Error: Unable to find atanks in Debian suite "sid".

$ apt-cache policy ubuntu-dev-tools
  Installed: 0.124~daily+bzr1093~natty1

That's a problem in ubuntutools/archive/rmadison. Even normal timeouts trigger this information.

    assert process.wait() == 0
except AssertionError:
    print "Request failed: install the liburi-perl package and try again."

Changed in ubuntu-dev-tools (Ubuntu):
importance: Undecided → Medium
status: New → Triaged

This is the command that times out:

rmadison -u debian -s sid -a source atanks

The rmadison command fails with this output (on my IPv4 network):
curl: (7) Failed to connect to 2607:f8f0:610:4000:216:36ff:fe40:3860: Network is unreachable

This is working again now. It seems that qa.debian.org was temporarily unreachable.

Reassigning to devscripts and lowering importance.

affects: ubuntu-dev-tools (Ubuntu) → devscripts (Ubuntu)
Changed in devscripts (Ubuntu):
importance: Medium → Low
affects: devscripts (Ubuntu) → ubuntu-dev-tools (Ubuntu)

Reassigning back to ubuntu-dev-tools. I miss read your comment above. The misleading error message isn't in rmadison itself, but a helper tool in udt.

Sorry for the noise.
