requestsync fails with 'Connection reset by peer'

Binary package hint: ubuntu-dev-tools

I have to run requestsync multiple times to get it to work. It will work every once and a while, but more typically it times out after a minute or two with the following error:

That's a problem with It would be good to catch the extension and write a nice error message instead, though.
