Bug Description

When trying to upgrade my machine (very bare-bones install, server + gdm + some daemons), it breaks on ubuntu-artwork with the following error:

Setting up ubuntu-artwork (8) ...
update-alternatives: unable to make /usr/share/icons/default/index.theme.dpkg-tmp a symlink to /etc/alternatives/x-cursor-theme: No such file or directory
dpkg: error processing ubuntu-artwork (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 2
Errors were encountered while processing:
 ubuntu-artwork
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

The /usr/share/icons/default directory does not exist.

Changed in ubuntu-artwork:
status: Unconfirmed → Rejected
