Thanks for reporting this issue

- As the main problem you have is related to update manager, I am targeting the team so they can investigate what happens on their side.

- On our side, I can see in the logs that livepatch is failing (whether enabling, disabling, etc;) with "Error running canonical-livepatch status: error executing status: livepatchd error: daemon shutting down". To be sure on how to proceed, I am also targeting livepatch people - which logs should we go for to understand what is happening?

I expect them to request more information, and we need more information ourselves to fix the problem.

The description ("does not run through and I can also not close it") and the fact that it is also caused by Livepatch means that this is very probably a duplicate of LP:2058133.

Das ist höchstwahrscheinlich ein Duplikat dieses anderen Berichts: LP:2058133. Um das zu bestätigen, versuch mal das Folgende in einer Kommandozeile:

  update-manager
  dpkg -l update-manager

und vergleich die Ausgabe mit der im jeweiligen Bericht.
