Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubufox

type about:home in url bar, problem persists as below:

 1. you always get redirected to http://start.ubuntu.com/10.04/Google/ which is wrong. it should stay at about:home if the start.ubuntu page exists
 2. even when using Yahoo and later Baidu you get redirected to the Google page

Problem is that there is a double // in the generated url.

so if searchplugin is google you get:
http://start.ubuntu.com/10.04//Google/ which is redirected to http://start.ubuntu.com/10.04/Google/

if selected searchplugin is yahoo you get:
http://start.ubuntu.com/10.04//Yahoo/ which is redirected to http://start.ubuntu.com/10.04/Yahoo/

Accepted ubufox into lucid-proposed, the package will build now and be available in a few hours. Please test and give feedback here. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed. Thank you in advance!

SRU verification for Lucid:
I have reproduced the problem with ubufox 0.9~rc2-0ubuntu2 in lucid and have verified that the version of ubufox 0.9~rc2-0ubuntu2.1 in -proposed fixes the issue.

Marking as verification-done

Alex, please upload to maverick as well. I won't move this to -updates unless/until it's also fixed in the devel release, as per SRU policy.
