Bug Description
Binary package hint: ubufox
RELEASE: Intrepid
CD/DVD VARIANT: 32bit Ubuntu Desktop cd
ISO BUILD: 20080917.1 + ubufox update to 0.6~b1-0ubuntu2
When a user starts firefox with a new profile for the first time, firefox starts up with 3 tabs open; the much-disputed eula as the focused tab and *two* tabs containing pointers to to the starting page. Subsequent startups (when the tab state hasn't be saved) do correctly show only one starting page.
See attached screenshot.

For clarification, I saw this behavior after installation from the live CD (though I've confirmed that I can also reproduce it within the livecd environment after doing apt-get update && apt-get install ubufox).
I can reproduce it freely by exiting firefox, doing rm -rf ~/.mozilla/, and restarting firefox.
