Bug Description

Trying to install 12.04 LTS, it crashed 3/4 through the installation progress.
Using USB medium on ThinkPad R61i.

This release of Ubuntu is no longer receiving maintenance updates. If this is still an issue on a maintained version of Ubuntu please let us know.
