Bug Description

A user installed Ubuntu 11.10 alone (no dual-boot) on a new PC.
Installer said the install was successfull, but after reboot, Ubuntu does not boot.
Here is the BootInfo summary (created via Boot-Repair) after install: http://paste.ubuntu.com/889562

Remark: according to the BootInfo summary, the boot is EFI mode, the disk is not GPT, and the installer created a EFI partition.

Remark2: i asked the /var/log/installer/syslog and /var/log/installer/partman files, and will attach them asap.
