Crashed while installing

Bug Description

Downloaded 11.10 i386, transferred to pendrive with Universal USB installer, booted ok, clicked "Install Ubuntu 11.10" Icon... after a while the app crashed. Using a Zotac ion ITX-A motherboard (Intel Atom 330, nvidia graphics) and a 32GB SSD.

System runs fine from the pendrive, but will not install.

On this same system I was able to install 10.04.03 LTS 32 bit, including nVidia accelerated video.
