Bug Description

Everything was OK, but when Ubuntu 11.10 installer try to recover which apps was installed before re-install, its just crash.

Could you please check the integrity of the installation media, and state if it was an installation from optical media or a USB device.

I installed Ubuntu 11.10 from DVD. Few days ago I used it to install fresh copy of O.S. and everything was OK, so integrity of data isn't reason in 99,999%.

There are quite a lot of "can't find file" or similar errors in the syslog, and it doesn't appear to be a problem with the download of the ISO .etc

Also, note the first 2 lines of casper.txt
