Bug Description
when I installed ubuntu 11.10 I was excited to see that there was a menu in the top right that allowed me to change the screen resolution. I changed it from the default 16:9 wide screen aspect ratio to a 4:3 ratio which better suits my monitor
it changed the size of the screen, but then cut off the menu.
ie the top taskbar doesn't realign to fit the new aspect ratio
affects: | debian-installer (Ubuntu) → ubiquity (Ubuntu) |

Not a papercut; it isn't trivially fixable, nor will the average user ever face it.
