11.04 Installtion Crashed while downgrading from 11.10 to 11.04

Bug Description

I attempted to downgrade from 11.10 to 11.04 using a 11.04 ISO install CD. After booting from the CD, during "Copying Files"(or "Copying Inofrmation"), a pop-up occurred saying "Installation Crashed" and asking me to include /var/log/syslog and /var/log/partman

I'm marking this as a duplicate of bug 891711 which has some detailed information regarding the issue. We are currently looking into ways to recover your system from this scenario so keep an eye on bug 891711 for those steps.
