Bug Description

Attempting to press the "Install Ubuntu 11.10" icon during a livecd session on a Macbook Pro 8,2 results in ubilquity crashing

Steps to Reproduce
- From Mac OS X install the rEFIt utility
- Reboot the machine twice or until you are presented with the rEFIt menu option during the boot process
- Burn the amd64+mac live cd iso
- Reboot the Macbook Pro
- From the rEFIt menu select to boot from the livecd
- Once the livecd session is running, click on the Install Ubuntu 11.10 icon
- The crash should occur at this point
