selected to reuse existing ext4 partition, no format, install seemed to proceed then crashed at the last minute.

In my case the crash seemed to happen after downloading extra packets and the "verification of packets to be deleted" (approximative translation from French).

Bug happened again even with formatting previous existing partitions.
Eventually succeeded by unplugging Ethernet so no update would occur during installation !
