Bug Description

I installed Kubuntu 6.10 again, and the installer worked perfectly. I partitioned manually, and GRUB said it would be installed on hd0, the correct one. I boot up, and the computer goes straight to Windows. After looking several times, I realized that GRUB hadn't marked the hard disk as bootable through fdisk.

Thanks for your bug report. From your description I gather that you resolved the issue by making the hard disk bootable, is that correct?

Yes; I did it with fdisk from within the LiveCD.
