After an installer crash (bug 80651), the installer won't start again

Binary package hint: ubiquity

I tried to install Ubuntu 6.06 from the official, ordered CDs on an Acer Aspire 5002WLMi. Everything worked well yesterday with another machine, exactly the same model. Now the installer crashed (as explained in bug #80651), and after the crash the installer doesn't want to start again. So, I run the installer script from the command line, with following results:

You cannot execute .desktop files like that. Try 'sudo ubiquity gtkui'.
