installer crash on starting partitioner & other bugs

Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

Notebook HP dv6000, Egdy + XP
trying to install 7.04 Feisty Fawn on free space 8 GB...
installer fail to launch partitioner giving this..

Also sceen goes mad after choosing keyboard settings so i have to go to tty* then go back to tty7 "GUI" then alt+tab & every thing back to normal...

PS. I have Nvidia Geforce Go 7400 but ubuntu uses vesa driver !!

Thanks for your report. The installer crash is also bug 76976. The display weirdness is bug 73955. Regarding the incorrect display driver, please file a separate bug on xorg with the information requested here: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/DebuggingXAutoconfiguration
