Install screen text outsize

My system is a Packard Bell Easy Note. When I try to install Kubuntu 7 (Frisky Fawn) I get as far as choosing the keyboard (UK). Pressing continue, the text on the screen changes size completely and becomes unreadable. Text size is about eight times normal vertically and four horizontally. Trying to select a menu item becomes impossible as only the first two items are displayed in the same unreadable text size.

Thanks for your bug report and trying out Feisty Fawn. The Herd 2 CD has been released since your bug report and it would help us to know if this still occurs with that CD. Could you please test it and report back?

Yes, it still happens with Herd 2. Please find attached a file with all hardware details for my machine.
