Bug Description

When performing an installiation of (K)ubuntu Edgy in a previously partitioned disk with reiserfs partitions, the installer won't let me proceed, telling me that I have to select a partition for the root file system, altough I've already selected one.

This happens in graphical and text installations.

kunbutu 6.10 edgy AMD64

I've setup a complete partitioning scheme on /dev/hdb
all reiser except for boot(=ext2)
/dev/hdb1 /boot
/dev/hdb2 /
/dev/hdb3 swap
/dev/hdb4 extended
/dev/hdb5 /usr
/dev/hdb6 /opt (former suse user - I'm corrupted :)
/dev/hdb7 /var
/dev/hdb8 /tmp
/dev/hdb9 /data

Error: no rootpartition

/ is 1Gb, but with everything on other partitions this should not be a problem
changing from reiserfs to ext2 did not solve the problem

switching to ext3 solves that problem. But of course now its
complaining about the size of /
Do you really need 2Gb /etc end /dev ?????
