Bug Description
Binary package hint: ubiquity
what i expected to happen
- Successful completion of installation
What happened
- the installation did not proceed to completion
steps:
Following the usual procedure to install using the CD (leave the update packages option unchecked),i reached the window which allows us to set the user name and password. Then the installation doesn't proceed to the next stage. I had to do a hardware restart of the computer as there was no option/intimation as to what had happened. Then, I realized that my wi-fi was not working correctly (showing local access only, some problem with the provider) and disabled the network connections (icon present in the top -right hand side) and started the installation process again. It installed successfully.
