Thanks in advance. Closing this bug. Please reopen it if you are able to supply the requested files at some point. (you would have to repeat the install attempt with the same Live CD to get them) It would also be useful if you tried the same procedure with a later version (6.06.1 or 6.10) and reported your findings. Further information: Since this is a Live CD based installer you have likely lost the original log files when you turned off or rebooted the machine. In that case the only way to get the log files is to reproduced the install procedure (with the crash) and upload the files directly from the Live CD. To upload the files you need to run firefox from the Live CD session where the installer crashed, visit this bug page and click on 'Add a comment/attachment' at the bottom of the page. Click Browse and navigate to the requested files in /var/log.
