Bug Description

Attempting to install KDe of Ubuntu (kubuntu) on a IMAC with Core Duo processor in a dual boot. Using Boot Camp 1.2 for MAC OSX

Thanks for reporting this. It is impossible to diagnose the problem without some more information. Can you please attempt to reproduce the crash and then attach /var/log/installer/syslog, /var/log/syslog, and /var/log/partman to this bug, by commenting on the bug's web page? (/var/log/installer/syslog only exists on Ubuntu 6.06 Dapper)

Is there any chance you can get those logfiles (it will require that you are able to reproduce the crash when installing) ?

Intel Macs aren't supported yet; this should be fixed soon. This is also bug 46853.
