Bug Description

Please, I am just new to Linux(Ubuntu) and don't really know what additional/further information to provide here. Well, if any thing goes, let me quickly say that:
I recently downloaded Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (Lucid Lynx) CD ISO image from the Internet. I burn the image on a CD disk and booted from the disk to perform a multi-boot (Window$ - Ubuntu - OpenSuse) installation on a Compaq Presario CQ60 laptop. I wish not to temper with the MBR of the internal hard disk(sda) but rather want to have a sort of a looped multi-boot chain-loading operating systems of the three above. I don't want to install Ubuntu grub boot-loader on my hard disk(sda) MBR rather I want it to be installed on the Ubuntu root partition (sda2). Unfortunately, along the steps of Ubuntu installation, it failed to let me know exactly where the boot loader(grub) will be installed. But OpenSuse offer user the option of choosing where to install the boot-loader(grub/lilo). It also offer user (during installation) the directory name of user-account under the "/home" directory, that is choosing a login name such as "utunbu", one can specify the directory name "utunbu2011" as it home directory under the path "/home".
