Installing Edgy from scratch choosing "Italian" as the installer localization does not install Italian support on the target drive. Most of the system is in English once booted.

Thank you for your bug report.

Are you able to install/set your local settings after installation? Probably this is a duplicate of Bug #63145

Thanks Peter

I am able to install Italian language support from the language setup applet in the System menu. However, this triggers two other bugs:
 - Nautilus stops working while Italian is used as a locale (reported as Bug #69036)
 - During installation, gimp-help configuration hanged and I had to ctrl-c in the Terminal pane of the graphical package installer to let the installation continue. However, I didn't report this because I didn't have time to gather information about it.

Note that this applies not just to KDE as Bug #63145 does, but to all packages related to the Italian localization.

Closing this bug because Edgy reached end of life on April 25th 2008.

If you still have this problem with Hardy file a new bug report please.

Thank you.
