Bug Description
When going from the "Prepare partitions" screen to the "Prepare mount points" screen, a couple of Really Bad Things happen. First off, the user goes from a graphical layout, presented two different ways, of the disk layout, to an entirely text-based presentation of the same data. Second, and more importantly, the naming scheme of the disks changes. Going from /dev/sda1 to [sda1] isn't a huge change, but in the second instance, the partition name is hidden behind a large amount of allcaps text.
IMHO, it would be far better to have the user setup mount points on the first screen - there appears to be enough real-estate to do this, and then the problem of switching from a graphical to a text-based context is eliminated.
Thanks for your report. This is also bug 47030, and should be addressed by https:/ /blueprints. launchpad. net/distros/ ubuntu/ +spec/ubiquity- advanced- partitioner once I finish it.
