Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

According to syslog the error seems to occur during copy_all due to

OSError: [Errno 21] Is a directory: '/target/usr/local/man'

On my system, /usr/local comes from an existing partition, mounted to /usr/local. From a previous Ubuntu installation, common directories, like "man" already exist there. This seems to be creating a problem for the installing when trying to re-create/copy files there, as far as I can tell.

I then manually deleted the directories, e.g. "man", "share", and so on, from the mounted /usr/local and reran the installer. The installation then completed successfully.
