Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

1) 10.10
2) very new to Ubuntu, not sure of how to properly gather version of package
3) I expected the install cd to format my computer with Ubuntu 10.10 operating system
4) screen showing install progress gave message "ready when you are..." [4026]

I am (unfortunately) fairly "green" when it comes to working computer systems and apologise for have not having the correct terminology at my disposal.

I've basically gotten lost trying to find info on the forums and would greatly appreciate any help that can be given.

-Thanks in advance, Kurt

not sure if it was a duplicate, but this was fixed by using all lowercase and no spaces in username, password and computer name. the "forward" button in installation worked (as did the rest of setup).

There was a similar problem in sector G-19 that required a complete "hard"
reboot. Ubuntu/Heron troops were able to keep supressing fire active long enough
for our team to complete the process, it got pretty hairy though, we suffered
light casualties.
