Bug Description
OS: Maverick Meerkat 64-Bit
When selecting on installation process 'Install Ubuntu' and an other language (e.g. German) the keyboard layout during the 'Specify partitions manually' step is wrong - Keyboard input remains English. When trying to write a '/' I get a '&'.
This bug doesn't appear if you choose first 'Try Ubuntu' and then from desktop 'install Ubuntu!

This bug is still present in the Natty Alpha 1 installer.
If a non-English language (German) is chosen in the welcome screen, the keyboard layout during the "Specify Partitions Manually" window remains English. This is very annoying because users have to find the "/"-character on the English keyboard.
I think there are two solutions: After selecting a language in the welcome screen set a sensible default keyboard layout for that language or ask the user before the partitioning for his keyboard settings.
