Bug Description
Binary package hint: ubiquity
When one follows the normal installation-path (boot from disc, install ubuntu) and one tries to specify another partition-layout, eg. specifying a /home-partition, one has to enter the size of the partitions wanted. However, ubiquity can't have any knowledge of the keyboard-layout as this question is asked AFTER the partitioning! So entering a number can go wrong.
If one uses an AZERTY-layout, one has to enter the numbers by means of the shift-key. As the locale has not been properly set up, one has to enter the numbers without using the shift-key. This is of course a very minor issue. In order to solve this problem in the future I suggest that setting the size of the partition can be done by means of sliders. (I'm aware that specifying the partition-layout first can reduce installation-time as the installer can start loading files as soon as the partition-scheme has been determined)
