RuntimeError: called outside of a mainloop
I was playing reinstalling the system to become more familiar with partitioning. This was on the desktop but next I want to install the server (on another machine) so familiarity is important. Started with the machine assigned partitions and added free space. I made a mistake and did not add enough free space to one partition so I added some more. Perhaps that caused the crash since all this was done at in one request. Ended up with four tasks for the partitioner. In the partitioner now that I have closed the bug notice I see one of the new spaces with an unknown format. I right clicked and made it ext3....which seems to have worked. This is in an app called GParted. Final partitionioning gives 3.45 GB to nda1 (only one disk on this desktop) 2.37 GB unallocated 502.04 MB for boot in hda3 and 2.43 GB in hda4. Also there are tow small swap allocations left over from the original partitioning.

Thanks for your report. This is also bug 54163, and is fixed in Edgy.
