Bug Description
Binary package hint: ubiquity
The OK button on Advanced Options is greyed out, even when I uncheck the box for "Install Boot Loader" (ie. I cannot deselect "Install Boot Loader"). The OK button becomes active when I select certain devices or partitions, but not for all. Workaround: Select a partition for which the OK button becomes active, then deselect "Install Boot Loader".
It is not possible to select the new, unformatted partition (/dev/sdb12) on which I am performing the install, but I can select /dev/sdb (but I don't want to overwrite my existing boot loader, I want to chain to the new bootloader).
This applies to Maverick Meerkat, Ubuntu 10.10 Alpha 3
A similar but was reported for Ubuntu 9.04 in #342325 but that bug has status "Fix Released"
