Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

Looks similar to #460901. I installed Kubuntu instead of an existing OpenSUSE 11.2 installation, telling the Kubuntu partitioner to format the OpenSUSE partitions and install Kubuntu there. There's also a Windows XP installation on the machine and I've used OpenSUSE 11.2 in dual-boot. Wanted Kubuntu instead, because a Kubuntu USB stick I got runs faster than the OpenSUSE installation.

To start the Kubuntu CD, I had to use boot options noapic nolapic, instead of the silent splash.

Traceback follows...

Regards,
Ola
