Kubuntu: When minimizing the installer window there is no way to get it back

Bug Description

When installing Kubuntu 10.10 alpha2 from the Install option (not from booting into the LiveCD environment) the installer window has Minimize and Close buttons. Once minimized, the user cannot bring the window back up (Alt-Tab does not work).

I did not test what happens when the Close button is clicked!

this bug is still present in 15.04. I right clicked the window icon and clicked minimize

Pressing Alt+Tab restores install window, tested on Surface Pro 3.

I just installed the latest build of Eoan and had this happen. I chose the install open, without trying the desktop. I had maximized the window and then clicked minimize by mistake instead of un-maximize. Alt+Tab didn't do anything. My workaround was to switch to another virtual terminal and kill kwin, after which the installer appeared without window decorations.

For folks who are still facing this issue, hover the mouse to top left corner, it should light up, click on it and the window should appear

Thanks answersamir, this is a working fix. However, this issue still exists, and Alt + Tab is nonfunctional. My suggestion is to disallow the user from minimizing the installer when the rest of the OS was never loaded.
