installer crashed

Bug Description
Install from Ubuntu 6.06 running as a liveCD.
Install was going onto a machine with one DVD drive, and an 80G SATA disc.
The disc was partitioned into "/" - 74 G, swap - 1 G approx, "/home" - 5 G
The file systems on the disc were xfs on both "/" and "/home".
There was no network connection
I have the full files for:
/var/log/
/var/log/syslog
/var/log/partman

Thanks for your report. Due to some reliability problems with GRUB and XFS, you need to use a non-XFS root filesystem or create a non-XFS /boot filesystem. The fact that the partitioner doesn't warn you about this up-front is also bug 47848, and is fixed in dapper-updates.
