Note: I had to 'depmod -a' in order to load the ath_pci module for net access to file this report. I assume it's unrelated but I'm mentioning it just in case.
Disk ide1 was already formatted, (Dapper 6.06.1)
Proceeded through install, at step 5 I choose "Erase entire disk", reached step 6 and hit install.
"Creating ext3 file system for / in partition #1 of IDE1 master (hda)..." appears to complete. dialog is at "Installing system" "Cleaning up"
