Bug Description
Binary package hint: ubiquity
In step 6 of the installation process, if you enter an invalid user name in the text field (so, for example, a name with the first letter upper-cased or with special chars) the green tick appear anyway, and when you click "forward" the installer does not proceed prompting the error "the username you entered is invalid..." near the text box only for a fraction of second.
It's not very user-friendly for the newbie user (and maybe also for the power user, if he don't know about upper-cased characters in the user name)
I'm using a two days old (2010-03-31) Lucid release.
