Bug Description
Binary package hint: ubiquity
Using the live cd of 10.04 (march 29 daily build) and trying to install ubuntu, when I get to the part about partitioning, I choose "manual" but the installer only sees the whole drive and none of the partitions I created.
To post a comment you must log in.
When and how did you create the partitions on the drive?
Are the partitions in question mounted when you get to the manual partitioning screen? (This could prevent them from being shown).
Can you please run the installer in debug mode by clicking on the "Try Ubuntu 10.04" button, then once the desktop is loaded, press alt-F2 to bring up the Run dialog and type `ubiquity -d`. Run the installer until you get to the point where you cannot see your partitions and then press alt-F2 again and enter `apport-collect 551236` in the Run dialog.
This will provide us with detailed debugging information to help us fix your bug.
Thanks!
