Bug Description

Installing from xubuntu-6.06-desktop-i386.iso on an IBM Thinkpad 41p under Windows XP, VMware 5.5.
The files: partman syslog installer_syslog plus a screenshot is attached as comment.

Your disk is too small to complete this installation:

IOError: [Errno 28] No space left on device

Bug 48355 notes that the partitioner should have warned you about this.
