Bug Description

Install crashes when raid 0 is configured.

Shuttle ST20G5, with ULi M5287 RAID 0. AMD 64 X2 dual 3800+.

When booting with acpi=off noapic observed:
Buffer I/O error on device hda, logical block 178656

Occurs 5 times, then boot of live CD is success.

Then install crashes, if and only if RAID is configured.

Thanks for your report. I'm going to treat this as a duplicate of bug 54163, which I'll soon have fixed in Edgy. I don't believe that this has anything to do with RAID, in fact; I believe that the workaround is to avoid hitting the back and/or next buttons more than once in quick succession.
