Bug Description

I'm running a AM64/3500 system with 2GB RAM, 2x250GB HD, Nvidia Graphics Card, Windows XP.
Wanted to install Kubuntu on second HD in 80GB primary partition (/dev/sdb2), Swap partition created with qtparted 4GB (/dev/sdb3) but never shown in next installer step.
Crashed after installing of packages during config of bootloader. Here's the trace:

Thanks for your report. Due to some reliability problems with GRUB and XFS, you need to use a non-XFS root filesystem or create a non-XFS /boot filesystem. The fact that the partitioner doesn't warn you about this up-front is also bug 47848, and is fixed in dapper-updates.
