Bug Description

As the installer sugested, I'm reporting this bug. It happens just after I choose username and password, when I get to the "select a disk" step. I get the following lines:

I suspect this may have something to do with selecting Brazilian Portuguese in the graphical CD boot loader. Try just leaving it at English there, but selecting Brazilian Portuguese in the installer?

Looks like this is the same underlying issue as bug 44595.

Hi, thanks for answering, and sorry if I made a duplicate entry. I made it through the installation process by now (two times actually), even using Brazilian Portuguese language in the graphical CD boot loader. This bug seems to afect the installer at random. But in the last two times it did, I didn't get any reports from the installer, it just got stuck after I've checked the "edit particions manually" box and clicked "next", then I had to reboot the system. But after some tries, I've been able to complete the installation!

Thanks for your attention.
Gláuber.

@ Gláuber

Don't worry for the duplicates. Currently, it is not easy to tell the exact reasons of a crash from the backtrace and thus it is better to open a new bug report than to introduce confusion in one already opened. Thanks for your bug report anyway. We are glad that you were able to install Ubuntu and we hope that you enjoy it.

I certainly will (enjoy it). I've been using Ubuntu for about 2 months (started with 5.10), and intend to keep going on. Thanks again!
