xubuntu installer crashed - attachments included

Bug Description

It gets to about 80%. It finishes copying files and starts the xorgconfig, but then crashes...

I did the live install on a duron 750 with 384MB. It runs fine with no errors off the live xubuntu 6.06 CD.

I also tried to attach the file /var/log/syslog but I get the error that it can't attach an empty file.

Thanks for your report. This is also bug 47859; you can work around it by not attempting to install NTP support until after you've rebooted into the installed system.
