6.06 RC i386 unsuccessful installation

I tried to install system on /dev/hda4 as a root partition on a multiboot system (hda1 is WINDOWS XP NTFS). At the very and got the following error and was left a bare grub which couldn't start WINDOWS nor UBUNTU.

Thanks for your report. This is also bug 46743, and is fixed in current daily builds (http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/). A workaround is not to choose to install NTP support during installation; you can install it after rebooting into the installed system by right-clicking on the date/time applet and selecting "Adjust Date & Time".
