Installer crashed while attempting to install from live cd (Flight 7)

I was attempting to install Kubuntu Flight 7 on a Sony Vaio VGN-A290 laptop from the live/desktop cd and the installer crashed.

Thanks for your report. This is also bug 43015, and is fixed in current daily builds.
