Bug Description
Binary package hint: ubiquity
During the install, Ubiquity has a section where it looks for online updates. There is a [skip] button present on the Ubiquity interface during this portion. However, the description of what Ubiquity is going at the time does not make it clear at all. It talks about "Configuring apt" and jumps through a complicated sequence of steps, all the while leaving the [skip] button on the interface.
It would be preferable to say only "Looking for online updates" through this process. That makes it clear what it's doing, and why it can be skipped (it's clear that skipping that step means you won't get an updated version). The detail provided is currently excessive. It would also be acceptable to update the message to describe broad chunks of the online update, like "Looking for updates to Ubuntu online...", "Downloading updates to Ubuntu...", and "Installing updates...".
