Bug Description

Binary package hint: kubuntu-live

When attempting to install from the live CD, I selected manual partition in order to select the partition on which to install the distribution. I received a message box saying that the installer had crashed. This occurred in Kubuntu Dapper Drake Flight 7.

Seems to be the same as bug #45775. If you still have the message box or if you can reproduce the error, you might compare it to the error message in #45775.

I've just noticed that #45775 is a duplicate of bug #45746 which is fixed in later versions, according to Jonathan Riddel's comment to #45746. So if your bug is the same as bug #45746 (and #45775), what I think it is, you should try the latest daily build or wait for the Release Candidate, which is sheduled for May-25.

I did not save the message box, but it appears to be the same as #45746 and #45775.

OK, so I made it a duplicate of bug #43125 (wich is the same as #45746 and #45775) and changed the status to "Fix Released".

status: Unconfirmed → Fix Released
