Installer crashes when choosing "manually edit partition table"

Bug Description

Kubuntu Dapper beta2 live-CD. Selecting "Manually edit the partition table" makes the installer crash immediately when clicking "Next".

Not sure if it's relevant, but the harddrive on the primary master disk (hda 120GB) is empty. I had just used fdisk and created an empty table (o) and written the changes (w), then rebooted. The primary slave disk (hdb 60GB) consists of one extended partition split into 3 logical drives with ext3 filesystem. No other hard-drives are present on the system. No LVM or any fancy stuff in use, just good old plain partitions.
