Binary package hint: oem-config
After installing Kubuntu karmic alpha 2 in OEM mode, no 'prepare for shipping' icon was created on the desktop or in the application menu. No .desktop file for this icon existed on the system.

This would need to be done the same as the ubiquity install icon with a plasma- netbook- applicationrc file moved into place kubuntu- netbook- default- settings/ share/config/ moved_plasma- netbook- appletsrc in kubuntu- netbook- default- settings. Probably not worth it for karmic now I'm afraid.
