ubiquity crashed with InstallStepError in configure_bootloader()

The LiveCD-based installation of 9.04 seems to crash out when attempting to install the bootloader. I'm running an nvraid and have tried selecting the main raid set and also the partition marked as Bootable, both with the same results.
